Chowan Golf & Country Club is a semi-private facility that offers an 18 hole golf course, driving range, tennis courts, swimming pool, dining room and banquet facilities. Our new clubhouse and pool opened April, 1998. The Country club is located one mile from the Edenton airport along Sound Side Drive, with views of the Albemarle Sound.
Renovation of the front nine holes on the golf course was completed in time for the 2005 season. These holes have taken on a new look with redesigned greens, fairways and tees. The putting surface is Champion Bermuda, the newest and hottest putting surface in the south.

Entrance fees shall be established by the board of directors. Entrance fees must be submitted by the applicant at the time of application for membership. Entrance fees are not refundable if applicant is accepted for membership.

Shall be entitled to the full use and enjoyment of all club’s social and recreational facilities and properties. Shall be entitled to one vote at all membership meetings. Shall be eligible to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. |

When member turns 36, may convert to full resident member with the following modification of the initiation fee applicable at that time: If junior exec for 1 full year, 20% reduction on initiation fee, 2 years- 40% reduction, 3 years- 60% reduction, 4 years- 80% reduction, 5+ years, any initiation fee is waived |
